Job Responsibilities
- Program Implementation
- Member and Parent Relations
- Management of Part-Time Staff
- Management of After-School Program under direct supervision of the Program Coordinator and Director of Operations & Programs.
Qualifications and Characteristics Required
- Must be a self starter with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to attend to details of record keeping with accuracy.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively as well as exhibit tact and understanding when dealing with children, parents, and staff.
- Must be able to follow through with oral and written instructions.
- Must possess adequate visual, auditory, and motor skills in order to take care of children.
- Physical Requirements: Helping children grow, learn, and gain new skills can be very rewarding. The work is sometimes routine but new activities and challenges mark each day. Child care can be physically and emotionally taxing, as workers constantly stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift (50 pounds constantly) to attend to each child's interests and problems.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Must be 25 years of age.
- Must be able to read and write effectively.
- Minimum of two years of management experience.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in fields of child development, customer service and management.
- First Aid and CPR certifications (We will train).
- Must obtain a Class B CDL within the first 9 months of employment. (We will assist with this process).

- Full-TIme position, Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
